Scope and content
Sermons, programs, posters, and correspondence concerning speakers invited to preach in Sage Chapel at Cornell. Programs in the collection are mainly for religious services, but also include some concert programs. The collection also includes a typewritten history of the Sage Chapel Choir by Donald R.M. Paterson (16 pages). Speakers who gave sermons include Lee E. Snook, Daniel Berrigan, Martin Luther King Jr., Richard D. Bausman, Rosemary Ruether, Carl Sagan, John A. Taylor, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Dick Gregory, Frank H.T. Rhodes, William Sloane Coffin, Robert Nelson West, and others. Includes full text of several sermons given during the 1986-1987 academic year.
