Biographical / Historical
Cornell University Class of 1909. President of Tuller Construction Company, Red Bank, New Jersey. J.D. Tuller was an active Cornell alumnus, Trustee, and member of Cornell's University Council. He expressed his conservative political views in a series of letters distributed to his fellow alumni. In 1961, Tuller disapproved of the University's appointment of a leftist economist as a visiting professor. He expressed his opinion vigorously, both in in his continuing series of letters to other alumni and in correspondence with senior University administrators.
