The diary discusses weather, campus life, particularly time spent in dairy and milk studies. It mentions being on Beebe Lake in the winter, the burial of Franklin C. Cornell, and the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house fire. After Cornell it discusses time spent in the North Country and around St. Lawrence County. Also included are a photograph from around the time when he attended Cornell and a newspaper clipping obituary.
