10 items including reprints of six articles by Furtwangler which grew out of his dissertation, and copies of primary sources used in his research. The sources include a rare copy of the Spectator in its original folio half-sheets, issues 1-635, and a copy of James Dykes Campbell's edition of Addison's manuscript of essays for the Spectator.
