Scope and content
Two manuscript account books for general stores, one of them evidently in central New York State (1939-1940) and the other possibly in Maine (1846-1857), detailing sales of agricultural equipment, hardware, sundries, cabbage, cows, wagons, sleighs, tractor parts, and engines, repairs made for customers, and expenses. Also, a printed volume listing the exhibits in the trial of Banque Franco-Egyptienne vs. John Crosby Brown et al. (1885?), involving the N.Y., B. & M. Railway and Brown Brothers & Company. The exhibits consisted mostly of checks and receipts.
