Biographical / Historical

Lincoln Hall, on the campus of Cornell University, was built in 1881 and renovated in 1960-1961, with another major renovation and addition in 2000. Initially it was the Civil Engineering building; later it became the building for Music and Theater Arts, and finally the building for Music alone (after the Department of Theater Arts moved to the Schwartz Performing Arts Center in Collegetown).
