Scope and content

Approximately 50 items including printed announcements, invitations, dance cards, and programs for dances, banquets, club meetings, and other entertainments and social events, most of them connected with Cornell University or located elsewhere in Ithaca, New York. Also includes a sheet of printed statistics on the Class of 1878, including the members' religious and political affiliations, their views on free trade versus trade protection, and their views on coeducation; a photograph of six unidentified young men (probably taken in the 1880s or 1890s), and negative prints of two views of a large house, possibly their fraternity; two notebooks from lectures (french, and Professor Babcock's course in 1876); maps drawn by Treman; and a book of lettering styles by Treman as a Cornell student, spring of 1876.
