Biographical / Historical

The "Sy Katz '31 Big Red Band Parade" was established in New York City in 1972 and named for Seymour M. Katz, M.D. It is held annually, now from St. Patrick's Cathedral on 5th Avenue to the Cornell Club at 44th Street following every Cornell/Columbia football game. A "Little Red Parade" for children was added in 2012.
