Album of photographs showing student rooms and other Cornell and Ithaca scenes likely compiled by John W. Watson of Philadelphia inventor and manufacturer of Watson Stabilators. Watson was not a Cornellian, but is known to have visited freinds in Ithaca. The album does have several images that show items that are Philadelphia related such as an Ogontz school banner. Album contains images of the Ithaca area including, Cascadilla School and Cascadilla Athletic grounds, sailing on Cayuga Lake and the Cornell Crew in 1902, falls and gorges, flooding downtown, probably the Ithaca boathouse. Cornell campus photos include Chi Psi mansion, Sage chapel, McGraw Tower, Barnes Hall, dormitory or student rooms, some possibly from Cascadilla Hall. Other New York locations include Geneva, Rochester Junction and Central Park in New York City. Also Bethlehem and Wayne Pennsylvania, Highland Park, Illinois. Overseas photographs include pictures at sea, Portrush, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, and Giant's Causeway Ireland, the Royal Portrush Golf Course and the Irish Championship of 1902, as well as a trophy, Buxton and Empress Docks in Southampton, England. There are several photos of train locomotives, including Chicago and North Western 584, the Ithaca Trolley and others, and a Pullman car. There is a small album of photos laid into the larger album. There is an index in the back of the album.
