Included are issues of Zhenskoe chtenie, Golyi korol', Chastnaia zhizn', Eros, Zhenskoe schast'e, Materi Mira, Lira safo, and many other Russian periodicals; newspaper articles in English on current conditions for gays and lesbians in Russia; a program (in English) for a conference on women's issues, held in Moscow in June 1995; and articles on homosexuality and other sexuality-related topics from the Great Soviet encyclopedia (Bolshai︠a︡ sovetskai︠a︡ ent︠s︡iklopedii︠a︡), one of them dated 1930, the others undated. Most of the periodicals are cataloged individually.
