Biographical / Historical

Wyckoff was a research scientist renown in electron microscopy and cyrstallography. He received his B.S. from Hobart College (1916) and a doctorate in chemistry from Cornell University in 1919. He taught at Cornell (1917-1919), Michigan and the University of Arizonia and worked at the Carnegie Institution, the Rockefeller Institute, the Lederle and Reichel laboratories and the National Institutes of Health of the United States Public Health Service.
