Scrapbook with photographs, programs, and other memorabilia documenting his student experience, including membership in Beta Sigma Rho fraternity (with listing by his son, Howard Kline); group photographs of Beta Sigma Rho and College of Chemistry; photograph of the Cornell Orchestra; Cornell-Penn football program, Thanksgiving, 1919; and Cornell Widow issue, Spring Day, 1928, Junior Week Guide 1925, Cornell schedule notebook, Masque program for It's Not All, Class of 1920 reunion photo, photo of Kline in Cornell S.A.T.C. (Student Army Training Corps) uniform. Also, Hudson High School diploma, 1916. Papers regarding graduate work at Cornell and research fellowships, publications by Kline. Notebooks and files on his work, including work at Misr Rayon Company in Egypt, paper on artificial kidney dialysis, patents, and cellulose research, photographs, PhD thesis, letters from Professors L. Biographical / Historical

Class of 1920, Chemistry. Emil Kline also received a Ph.D. in 1923. He was a member of Beta Sigma Rho, played in the Cornell Orchestra, was the business manager of the "Cornell Chemist" and served as an assistant in organic chemistry. His son Howard A. Kline also attended Cornell.
