Scope and content
Scrapbook includes items relating to George MacNoe and his college career. Items documenting his time at Hobart College before coming to Cornell including his Skull and Dagger initiation. Other items relating to Kappa Alpha, Cornell University Athletic Association, Ycnan, Cornell Masque, Dutch Kitchen, Savage Club, beanie burning, Senior Ball, Quill and Dagger, Book and Bowl, a Chinese reception card signed by Suh Hu, Sibley Banquet, blueprints for a 1916 Fourth of July Carnival in Dansville at the Faulker Property. There are a number of items regarding the Cornell Glee Banjo and Mandolin Clubs and their annual winter tours across the Mid-Western and Southern U.S.. Items include menus from the ships and railroads they rode on, including the Savannah Line S.S. Naccochee. Programs from concerts, itineraries, a rule book, stickers from Hotels, banquet programs from places like the Cleveland Hermit Club and Cornell Club of Chicago.

Biographical / Historical
George MacNoe graduated Cornell in 1913 with a degree in mechanical engineering. MacNoe was from Dansville, New York and prepared at Hobart College. He served as President of the Cornell University Glee Club and was a member of Kappa Alpha and Quill and Dagger.
