Biographical / Historical

The Biggs Hospital Service Committee was organized in 1941 as part of the Tuberculosis Association. Biggs Memorial Hospital was a tuberculosis sanatorium in Ithaca, New York. It closed in 1956, but the Service Committee then continued its work with patients in other Tompkins County hospitals.
