Biographical / Historical
Titus Fish and Phebe Brown, both born in Stonington, Connecticut, were married in Albany County, New York in 1796. They had twelve children, of whom eleven lived to adulthood. Four of the children were born in Berne, New York (in Albany County), and six were born in Scipio (in Cayuga County). Most of the children remained in upstate New York, although four of them settled in various places in Wisconsin, and two in Michigan.
