Gifford and Helen Mar (DeMeritt) Gifford of Williams County, Ohio; and Benjamin Franklin Swett of Mount Morris, New York. Also, a list of hair samples contained in a small homemade book owned by Rhoda (Gifford) Cole in 1845; and a letter from Almon E. Daniels to the Department of Regional History and University Archives at Cornell University, giving additional information about several of the people named in the genealogies.
