Scope and content

Programs for performances of plays in New York City: at Cohan and Harris Theatre, March 1918; Booth Theatre, January 1918; Longacre Theatre, November 1919; Cort Theatre, April 1920; Ethel Barrymore Theatre, March 1937; and Plymouth Theatre, November 1938. Also, programs for performances in Boston in March 1920, at Shubert-Wilbur Theatre, Colonial Theatre, Copley Theatre, and Hollis Street Theatre. All of the programs include many advertisements. With them is a leaflet advertising the play "Monsieur Beaucaire" at the Tremont Theatre in Boston (undated), and also two newspaper clippings concerning Booth Tarkington's play "Seventeen" (1918). Also included is a program for the Ithaca High School Entertainment at Wilgus Hall, Ithaca, New York, March 8, 1877 (2 copies). The Ithaca play was a short musical.
