Biographical / Historical

Seikichi Iwasaki attended Cornell from 1885 to 1887 in the "Science" course. After two years at Cornell, he went on to the Yale Law School. He later became president of the Cornell Club of Tokyo and head of the Tokyo Gas Company and the Iwasaki Cement Company.
