Biographical / Historical
The Coalition for Positive Sexuality is a grassroots volunteer group formed in Chicago in 1992 by high school students and members of the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP), Queer Nation, Emergency Clinic Defense Coalition, and No More Nice Girls. CPS works to give teens information and affirm their decisions about sex, sexuality, and reproductive control, and to facilitate dialogue on condom availability and sex education, in and outside of the public schools.

CPS's Girl Germs campaign was a project to raise awareness of issues affecting young women's sexuality. The posters were produced by Jeanette May.
