Biographical / Historical

Kappa Beta Phi had its Alpha Chapter founded at Hobart College in 1898, followed by the Beta Chapter at the University of Minnesota in 1900. Cornell's Gamma Chapter was founded in 1902. The society is known as a social (drinking) organization. Today its Wall Street Chapter, founded in 1929 before the stock market crash, is the only remaining chapter of the society.
