Biographical / Historical
Cornell University Class of 1992. Scott Oliaro played tailback on the Cornell varsity football team for three years. He was MVP of the Freshman football team, and Ivy League Rookie of the year during his sophomore year. He was selected to the All Ivy League Team after his junior and senior years. He was team captain for two years, and the first Cornell player to be in the top 10 in career rushing yards, receiving yards, and receptions, and held the Cornell record for kickoff yardage in a single game. He broke Ed Marinaro's single game rushing record and all purpose yards. He was named Sports Illustrated's Offensive Player of the Week. During his career, he scored 22 touchdowns and led Cornell to an Ivy League Championship. He also worked as an assistant trainer for the Cornell Athletic Department, working with the lacrosse and hockey teams. He received a degree in nutrition from the College of Human Ecology in 1993.
