Biographical / Historical
Calvin Hall and John Green were partners in a brick-making business in Deerfield, New York from 1834-1840. As they dissolved their partnership, disputes arose as to how much money each partner owed the other or their creditors. Decided in favor of the plaintiff in the Oneida County Supreme Court, the case was appealed to the county Court of Appeals.
