Biographical / Historical
John George Seeley received his B.S. in Horticulture in 1937 at Rutgers University, his Masters degree in 1940 also from Rutgers and his Ph.D. at Cornell in 1948. In 1948 he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Floriculture and Ornamental Horticulture at Cornell.
