Scope and content

Three postcards, two of them addressed to Henry Allen in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, the other to Abram Shuart (also in Mansfield), on business matters. The postcards to Henry Allen, from Elliott Watson [?] in Wellsboro (September 26, 1879) and A. Morgan in Troy, Pennsylvania (May 6, 1886), urge him to draw up legal documents for clients. The postcard to Abram Shuart is a receipt for payment on his membership in the Equitable Accident Association in Binghamton (October 1, 1886). Also included is the April 29, 1865 issue of Harper's Weekly, containing illustrations of Civil War incidents and a memorial page for the recently assassinated President Lincoln.
