Also, postcard of the museum with the caption, "Bird museum--erected in 1904 by John E. Thayer, Lancaster, Mass.; photo by James MacDonald." Both items were found in a copy of Catalogue of a collection of books on ornithology in the library of John E. Thayer, compiled by Evelyn Thayer and Virginia Keyes (Boston: Privately printed, 1913).
