Scope and content

Student scrapbook includes photographs (black-and-white, cyanotype, printed) of people, activities, and scenes on campus and in the Ithaca area; programs relating to class, athletic, and musical events; menus; calling cards and dance cards. Many of the items relate to Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Also a few programs from Sigma Lambda Nu and programs and photographs relating to the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1904 in 1954.

Biographical / Historical

Cornell University Class of 1904, LLB. William L. Stow was born in Ohio and grew up in Buffalo, N.Y., and attended Masten Park High School, where he was a member of Sigma Lambda Nu fraternity. He came to Cornell in 1901 to study law. At Cornell, he joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Phi Delta Phi, Chancery, Scalp and Blade, and the Mandolin Club.
