Clark, the first person to be executed in Tompkins County; the unveiling of a tablet in the Presbyterian Church commemorating Samuel Parker; the "Taghanic Stone Man" hoax; an obituary for William R. Humphrey; and a portrait of Simeon DeWitt. Also includes a pamphlet: "1482-1873. Hip! Hip! Hurrah!! The Fusileer Speech...," a humorous 4th of July oration apparently delivered or intended for delivery at Cortland or Virgil, 1873. Also includes full Anniversary issue, June 1st, 1938.
