Biographical / Historical

The Book Collection Contest was instituted in 2003 continuing the tradition of the Arthur H. and Mary Marden Dean Book Collection Contest that was held from 1966 to 1987. It provides Cornell students with the opportunity of displaying their aptitude in assembling and organizing book collections and articulate their interest in books and reading. In 2006 the contest expanded to include a separate category for graduate students.
