Included are opening remarks by Luciano Martins on the political crisis and popular movements in Brazil; a prepared response by Philippe Schmitter; the ensuing discussion; a presentation by Carlos Estevan Martins on changes in Brazilian foreign policy, 1964-1974; discussion by Sergio Breges, Luciano Martins, and Carlos Estevan Martins; a presentation by Luciano Martins on intercapitalist competition and foreign investment in Latin America; ensuing questions and discussion; and concluding discussion.
