Items collected by Edward J. Snow. RadioGram from Admiral Byrd, May 15, 1926. Also a medal commemorating the first non-stop flight from New York to Paris by Charles Lindbergh, produced by the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America. The medal shows the Spirit of St. Louis on the trans Atlantic flight and states Per aspera ad astra.

Biographical / Historical
Edward James Snow worked for many years at Socony Vacuum. He was responsible for the fueling and lubrication for Charles Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis" before its trans-Atlantic flight. Snow was a member of the Cornell University Class of 1904, Mechanical Engineering.
