Subject files, primarily relating to his research in outsider art; includes his manuscript "Raw Art." Also includes photographs and files on art in bottles; clippings and transcriptions of letters by Jean Dubuffet; correspondence and translations by David Rattray; Simon Rodia and the Watts sculpture; and copies of "In'tuit," the publication of The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art. Additional correspondents/subjects include Fritz Bultmann, Gaston Chaissac, Henri Michaux, Leo Navratil, Alfonso Ossario, Dieter Rot. Kea Tawana, and Adolf Wölfli.
Also included are two brochures advertising exhibits , one titled "Images & Objects: Art & Design of the 20th Century" (Boston, 1960), the other titled "Modernism: A Century of Style & Design, 1860-1960" (New York, 1990).
