. Cornell University Class of 1919. He graduated in 1920, completing the mechanical and electrical engineering courses in 4.5 years. At Cornell, Curtis was a member of Theta Alpha fraternity; Eta Kappa Nu, the honorary electrical engineering society; Tau Beta Pi, the Honorary engineering society; and Sesomah, a club for students from Rochester.
