Scope and content
Three scrapbooks, one titled Sioux on the warpath, one titled Indians on the warpath, and one untitled. The books contain newspaper clippings regarding Indians, particularly the Sioux, and the events leading up to and shortly after the Wounded Knee massacre. Clippings discuss the people involved, the Ghost Dance, thoughts on how to disarm the Indians, mention of individuals coming over from Great Britain to aid soldiers at the Pine Ridge Agency, Sitting Bull's death, some other events involving Indians are also covered.
