Scope and content
Contents of a scrapbook that has been taken apart. Includes photocopies of all the items that were in the scrapbook, many of the original items are included as well, but some are missing. Includes, clippings, correspondence, committee reports, publications, postcards, and other ephemera documenting the Daughters of the American Revolution's involvement in Indian affairs. Much of the correspondence is to Leda Ferrell Rex (Mrs. Loren Edgar Rex), the National Chairman of the D.A.R.. Also included are an original Woody Crumbo print, cover from Star magazine, July 24, 1949, programs from D.A.R. events, information about Indian crafts, maps, items cover many areas across the United States. Most of the items show damage from being glued into the scrapbook.
