Biographical / Historical

Frederic Remington was an American painter, illustrator, and sculptor. He is known for his depictions of life in the West. He was born in New York State and lived there, traveling to the West for only a few months at a time. During the Spanish-American War he worked as a war correspondent and illustrator.
