Scope and content
CD of an interview with Steven Muller by Astrid M. Eckert as part of the German Historical Institute's Fall 2003 Lecture Series. The interview discusses his childhood in Germany where his father was a lawyer, the family's leaving Germany in 1938, their emigration to the U.S. in 1940, and his work as a child actor in Hollywood and as a contestant in radio quiz shows. Also discussed is his position as Vice President for Public Affairs at Cornell and his role during the Willard Straight takeover in 1969. Also an announcement of Muller's talk at the Institute and a script of the questions that Eckerd asked in the interview.
