Biographical / Historical

Architect. Slocum Kingsbury was the son of Henry Peoble Kingsbury and Florence Elizabeth Slocum. He had an older sister Clara and a younger sister Elizabeth. He graduated from Cornell in 1915. An authority on hospital design, he helped found the architectural firm of Faulkner, Kingsbury, and Stenhouse in Washington, DC. in 1941, retiring in 1964.
