Scope and content

Includes administrative correspondence of Cedric H. Guise, Cornell campus coordinator, New York State College of Agriculture Dean William I. Myers, and Cornell Controller Arthur H. Peterson with the visiting professors and project leaders at Los Baños, the ICA, and others pertaining to staff appointments, travel and transportation costs for the visiting professors and for young University of the Philippines College of Agriculture faculty members who pursued graduate work in the United States, and also to the studies of the latter; some letters from visiting professors describe their life and work at Los Baños. Also, copies of the contracts; equipment orders and other requisitions; and annual and final reports on specific areas of work and on the contracts as a whole. Includes consultants and Ad Hoc Committee reports on future development and improvement of the Home Technology curriculum, 1967-1968. Other correspondents include Marlin G. Cline, Halsey B. Knapp, Harry H. Love, Montgomery E. Robinson, George Trimberger, and Kenneth L. Turk.

Under contract agreements with the International Cooperation Administration of the United States government, Cornell University engaged in assistance programs at the College of Agriculture and the College of Forestry of the University of the Philippines, both located at Los Baños.
