Scope and content

Index cards and wall charts containing information about spring first arrival dates and fall last departure dates for migrating birds, with related observations about those species of birds reported from the Cayuga Lake Basin. 28 wall charts documenting the bird count and spring first arrival dates for migratory birds in the Cayuga Lake Basin in detail. Charts are missing for the following years: 1957,1958,1959,1960,1961,1970,1984 and 1989. 2 charts of breeding records for various species of birds in 1956. Includes color slide of a Virginia Rail nest in Sapsucker Woods, 1946 and slides of an immature male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, 1986.
