Biographical / Historical

Jesse Floyd Stinard was born in Richford, New York; graduated from Brown University; taught in the Philippines just after the Spanish American War; was principal of high school in Hermon, New York; and taught at the New York State Normal School from 1913-1950. With Paul Johnson Slate, he wrote Descendants of Frederick Stinard, 1966. He died in 1951.
