This collection contains two copies of a photograph of Ezra Cornell, one negative of the same image; three copies of a photograph of Ezra Cornell's boyhood home near De Ruyter, New York plus one negative; the Cornellian Council Bulletin for March/April 1939, containing an article about Ezra Cornell's boyhood home; The DeRuyter Gleaner, 4/25/1940, containing an article about Cornell pottery and the same paper for 5/3/1940, containing an article about the Cornell home.

Biographical / Historical

Walter Wallace Edwards, Class of 1893, was born in Forest Home, New York in 1871. He was a teacher from 1901 to 1904; a traveling inspector for Solvay Process Company, Syracuse, N.Y. from 1905-1921; from 1921 to 1940 did assorted work; retired in 1940; and served in World War II in ordnance.
