Account books, correspondence, diary-almanacs containing weather records, receipts, copyright papers, surveying notes, and maps pertaining to the administration of the farms of Tillson and his father Timothy F. Tillson in Ulster County (N.Y.), and to the creation and production of Tillson's map of Ulster County. Correspondence pertains to the operation of Daniel Butterfield's fruit farm, the affairs of Joseph Whelan and Joseph V. Whelan, and relations with Helen Miller Gould, P. Henry Brink, and Robert Pearsall Smith. Also one distance measuring instrument in wooden case and a surveying chain (MU-339).
