Biographical / Historical

Henry Bruner Sutton was a native of Albion, New York and a graduate of Cornell University (Class of 1916) and Cornell Medical College (M.D. 1921). He was a member of the American Medical Society, New York State Medical Society, Tompkins County Medical Society, and the New York State Industrial Medical Society. He was a consulting surgeon at Tioga General Hospital in Waverly, New York and taught anatomy at Cornell Medical College from 1916 to 1917. He helped found the former Tompkins County Board of Health, and was a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He practiced medicine and surgery in Ithaca, New York from 1924 until just before his death.
