Biographical / Historical
Anatomist, educator.Abram Tucker Kerr received an B.S. from Cornell University in 1895, where he was a student of Burt Green Wilder, and an M.D. from the University of Buffalo in 1897. He also studied at the Unitersity of Gottingen, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Freiburg. In 1900, Kerr was appointed Professor of Anatomy in the Cornell University Medical College in Ithaca. In 1904, he was also named to serve as secretary of the Medical College.
