History of two truck manufacturing firms, based in Farmingdale, N.Y. , ca. 1912 and 1916, the Remington Motor Company and the Clyde Motor Truck Company. Also includes family history, local history of Farmingdale, N.Y. and the story of Charles Matthews Manley (Cornell University Class of 1898), who was a pioneer in the development of the aeroplane engine.
