Biographical / Historical

Geologist. Irving Perrine received a B.A. (1907), M.A. (1911), and Ph.D. (1912) from Cornell University. He was a member of the faculty of the University of Oklahoma from 1912 to 1915, became a consulting geologist and oil operator in 1915, served as a consultant to the Navy during World War II, and headed the Dept. of Geology at Oklahoma City University from 1945 until his retirement in 1951.
