Scope and content

Financial records include vouchers relating to the construction of Sage College, 1875; vouchers relating to the Sage Fund, 1872-1876; four check books and bank book relating to the Sage Fund; ledgers; and contract for Sage College Bridge. Early advertisements, notices, and circulars of the Sage College at Cornell University, including the proceedings of the laying of the corner stone and "Sage Maidens of Cornell University," from Demorest's Family Magazine, 1891.

Scope and content

Also, "Specifications and materials and work required for The Sage College, to be erected by the trustees of the Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y." includes Mason's and Carpenter's specifications, "Bill of Quantities," and "Methods of Jointing in Wood," and "Trusses," keyed to the plans. Also, set of 12 architectural plans, dated June 15, 1872, and printed by the American Photo-Lithographic Co.
