Penciled reports and minutes of a cheese factory in Sheridan, Chautauqua County, N.Y.; signed by C.E. Griswold, Chairman, Manley J. Tooke, Secretary, and others. Also, letter, Sept. 3, 1882, to Tooke, Sheridan, N.Y., from his sister, Mary E. Tooke, Oneida Castle, discussing the extensive local growing of hops, the high prices currently being paid for them, and the use of migrant labor, especially Belgians; also, comments on other local farm conditions, the manufacture of cider in Bouckville, and the activities of mutual friends.
