Biographical / Historical

Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Byron W. Saunders was a member of the Cornell University College of Engineering Faculty since 1947. He served as Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Director of the School of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Director of Continuing Education in the College of Engineering, and Dean of the University Faculty. His field of teaching and research was in manufacturing systems.
