Miscellaneous letters regarding gifts to the library and other library matters, 1896-1929. Two letters from Hu Shih to George Harris about the gift of Chinese books by Chinese students to the library, 1911; and "List of books presented to Cornell University Library by Chinese students, Dec. 28, 1911." Other correspondents include J. R. S. Sterrett , W. L. Westermann, Madison Bentley, Edward B. Titchener, T. F. Crane, Burt Green Wilder, and William Elliot Griffis.
